Once upon a time, way out in the West where the tumbleweeds blow…there were heroes. Big ones, small ones, mean ones, nice onces, heroes of all kinds - but only one was pink and squirmy. In Low Noon, you play as the most fearless worm west of the Mississippi, digging into the earth in a rip-roaring roguelike to save your town from the greed of a land-developing mole, blasting through waves of outlaws with the wormiest 3rd-person shooting controls we could cook up.

OUR STORY

Way out West, beyond the Bumblebrush and past Calamity River, lies THE TOWN WITH A NAME THAT NOBODY KNOWS. Out on the frontier, a brave few make their way to the burgeoning mining town to dig into the earth in search of fortune and glory!

The peace of this ramshackle respite from the desert is kept by a WORM SHERIFF, a rough-and-tumble cowboy with 5 hearts of gold. He makes sure that the folks in his town earn their way square, and that the golden opportunity of the West remains open to anyone who passes by.

But one day, TERRIBLE TREMORS began to rock the town! The miners and fortune-seekers fled the mines for fear of a collapse, spinning stories of angry spirits and horrible laughter rising up from below the earth. They took shelter in the saloon, drinking the day away to ease their fears. The only one left outside was the sheriff, who was never the superstitious type. To save his town, he’ll have to dig down into the earth and face whatever troublemakers are stirring up  sand devils in his neck of the West!

There are rumors that a GREEDY LAND BARON has been developing the frontier from the bottom up, building from the center of the earth outwards so that anyone with claims topside will be driven off. If he intends to try and pull his devious tricks on the Town With A Name That Nobody Knows, he might just find himself in a duel with the bravest worm to ever wear the badge. A duel at…
